WA: Train crash man charged with drink driving

PERTH, Jan 13 AAP - A man whose car went through a boom gate and crashed into a moving
train in the Perth suburb of Maddington last night has been charged with drink driving.

Police allege the 25-year-old had more than .08 per cent of alcohol in his system when
the accident happened at a rail crossing on Albany Highway at about 10pm.

A police spokesman said the man's car was dragged about 30 metres by the train and
he received hospital treatment for minor back injuries.

A female passenger was treated in hospital for shock but no other injries …
